You already know what matters.
You just forget.
Your friend mentioned her mom's surgery — you meant to check in. Your college roommate's kid started school — when was that? You ran into someone at the neighborhood party and had a great conversation — what was his name again?
The details that make you a good friend, a thoughtful family member, a person who actually remembers — they're in your head for about 48 hours. Then they're gone.
You've tried calendar reminders with no context, notes apps that become graveyards, and scrolling back through old texts before a phone call. None of it is a system.
Talk. We'll remember.
Just ramble
After a conversation, a coffee, a phone call — say what happened. No forms. No fields. Just talk.

We organize it
Magic Chat parses what you said into the right contacts, journal entries, and follow-ups. You don't file anything. It just happens.
Be ready next time
Before your next call or meetup, you know exactly what's been happening in someone's life, what you discussed, and what you promised.

Everything you need to be thoughtful
Relationship context, not contact fields
Apple Contacts stores phone numbers. Contacts Magic stores what matters — how you know someone, what's going on in their life, your shared history.
Follow-ups that don't let you forget
Set a reminder to check in after someone's job interview, surgery, or big move. When it's time, you'll have the full context of why you're reaching out.
Works the way you already use your phone
Siri, Shortcuts, Widgets, dictation. Capture a thought while you're walking, driving, or between meetings without opening the app.
Your data stays yours
Everything syncs through your personal iCloud account across iPhone and iPad. Magic Chat sends what's needed to our AI provider for that single request — we don't keep it, and neither do they.
More than a contact list

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from Apple Contacts?
Apple Contacts is an address book — names, numbers, emails. Contacts Magic is the relationship layer on top. It stores what you talked about, what matters to someone, and when you should follow up. It links to Apple Contacts for convenience but never duplicates or modifies your address book.
Isn't tracking friendships kind of... weird?
Remembering that your friend's mom had surgery isn't tracking — it's caring. Contacts Magic captures the things a thoughtful person would remember if they had a perfect memory. It's a tool for being more present in your relationships, not less.
Does the app send my contacts to a server?
Only when you use Magic Chat. The contact details needed to answer your question are sent to our AI provider for that single request — we don't keep them, and neither does our AI provider. Everything else stays on your devices and syncs through your personal iCloud account.
Can Contacts Magic edit my Apple Contacts?
No. Apple Contacts is read-only. Contacts Magic never writes back to your address book — it only reads names and basic info when you choose to link a contact.
What can I do for free?
Everything except Magic Chat is free with no limits — adding contacts, creating follow-ups, writing journal entries, organizing with groups and tags, and search. Magic Chat uses magic credits. You get some free to start, and can subscribe ($9.99/mo) or buy credit packs if you want more.
What happens if I run out of credits?
You can still use the app normally — adding contacts, creating follow-ups, and writing journal entries manually is always free. To use Magic Chat again, you can buy a credit pack starting at $1.99 or subscribe to Plus.
What devices does it work on?
iPhone and iPad. Your data syncs automatically across your Apple devices.
